After years of being notable absent, flagship Apple products are returning to the Amazon stores of multiple countries, including the United States, the UK, Spain, Germany, France, Japan, and India. products will start appearing on Amazon in the coming weeks.
The move means that buyers wishing to get hold of Apple products will be able to buy direct from Apple, via Amazon, without the concerns that are currently associated with buying Apple-branded products on the site.
Currently, being something with an Apple logo on has all kinds of concerns, not least whether the product is genuine. even if it is, pricing fluctuates wildly, as does stock levels. This new development means that will no longer be an issue, although not all Apple products will be available. One notable exception is the HomePod, Apple’s competitor to the Echo line of smart assistant devices that is made by Amazon.
As part of the move anyone selling Apple devices on Amazon will see their listings removed starting January 4th, meaning only Apple will sell its products on the site. That’s bad news for those companies, but potentially good news for buyers. It’s certainly good news for Apple which must have been leaving money on the table by not being present on Amazon. Amazon says that it’s looking forward to being able to list Apple products, including Beats.
